    Mark is an experienced Principal Consultant, working on existing, new, commercial and public sector building projects. Drawing on more than 25 years of experience in property management and construction, Mark works to provide clients with the best options and solutions on any given project. He is also a qualified retrofit and risk management coordinator, able to guide local authorities, housing associations and individuals through the Retrofit PAS 2035 process.  He takes pride in completing projects and pushing them over the line. Mark’s vision for EAL Consult is to see the company recognised as best in class. Outside work Mark enjoys philosophy, politics and fine art.

    Monique has a background in property with over 17 years specialising in construction guidance for energy efficiency and sustainable building. She provides award-winning consultancy on best practice for national planning standards, local authority requirements and building regulations compliance whilst adapting to new legislation on tackling climate change. The most satisfying part of her work is tackling design challenges to find the best sustainable solutions. Her vision for the business is to create a legacy of sustainable buildings for future generations. Her hobbies are cooking and baking. No client leaves a meeting without a slice of homemade cake! She speaks Italian, French and Spanish.

    Neil has spent over 25 years in the construction sector as a senior architectural technician and energy consultant. He delivers energy assessments for planning support, and technical advice to achieve Building Regulations Part L compliance for domestic and commercial buildings, including Building Safety Regulator Reporting. He specialises in the assessment and delivery of thermally and energy-efficient buildings that not only reduce clients’ energy demands but also create comfortable, healthy, and pleasant living environments. By integrating energy performance analysis with design considerations, Neil ensures that each dwelling achieves optimal efficiency while maintaining high standards of occupant comfort and wellbeing. Outside work, he is an active golfer and tennis player and loves fine wine and cinema.

    With over nine years experience in sustainability, Sylvia is a specialist in daylight/sunlight reports and is a qualified BREEAM consultant. She has degrees in architecture, having won awards for her work along the way. She loves to travel, socialise and spend time in Greece with her family. Sylvia is fluent in Greek as well as English.

    With 20+ year of hands on construction experience, Paul ensures that new build and existing/converted residential buildings comply with the energy and carbon emission standards of Part L of the Building Regulations. He works with architects and developers before and during construction to optimise building fabric and services (heating, ventilation, renewables) to meet increasingly strict sustainability targets. He also produces As Design SAP Assessments, Energy and Sustainability Assessments, U-Value Calculations, Thermal Bridging Calculations, and Water Consumption Calculations, as well as As Built SAP Assessments, Construction Evidence Review, Lodgement and Issue of final EPC. Paul has a keen interest in history, from the Greek to the Medieval eras and loves rugby and football.

    Charlotte provides energy assessments for planning, New Build SAP calculations, water efficiency calculations, simplified and thermal dynamic CIBSE overheating assessments, as well as project manager, ensuring all reports meet client deadlines. She has a background in engineering sustainability, working on a variety of residential projects, providing SAP and water calculations and Part O (overheating assessments) for Building Regulations Compliance. She loves talking to new people and advising on how to meet regulations, bringing projects to life. She loves spending time with her family, her sausage dog, and also enjoys cooking.

She assists in creating and maintaining project logs, preparing client proposals, confirming appointments and keeping online company records and spreadsheets. She has three dogs and a cat and loves spending time with all her fur babies.
