Other ways to reduce your energy costs

Retrofit is the government’s new plan to bring our housing stock into the 21st Century in terms of sustainability. The government has set a target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 80% of 1990 levels by 2050.
As homes are responsible for up to 21% of carbon emissions the government has committed to retrofit 24 million properties that are not insulated, airtight and properly ventilated; thereby reducing carbon emissions as well as reducing the cost to heat them.
Upgrading all homes in the UK to within the minimum energy efficient standards is a key element of this policy. Retrofitting insulation, energy-efficient windows and doors, and other technologies will save money on heating homes as well as increase the value and marketability of your property.
Our qualified retrofit professional will project manage your retrofit and ensure works are carried out according to PAS 2035 quality and best practice standards and are TrustMark approved. All works will need to be carried out by suitably qualified persons, from start to finish. We will ensure that the right technologies are chosen for your home and that a fabric first approach is taken before installing any services. We will also keep you updated on any grants you may be able to take advantage of to help finance your project.
