Energy Performance Statement
The Environmental Performance Statement (EPS) is a written document that is part of the planning application.
Environmental Impact Assessment
Environmental impact assessment enables environmental factors to be given due weight, along with economic or social factors, when planning applications are being considered.
Air Test
An air leakage test, also known as an air tightness test or air permeability test, is a test to determine the level of uncontrolled air flow through gaps or cracks in the fabric of a building.
Sound Test
All sound tests are undertaken in accordance with BS EN ISO 140 and results are calculated according to the method given in BS EN ISO 717 required by part E of the building regulations, Ecohomes and the Code for Sustainable Housing.
Asbestos Reports
By Law you must have an asbestos management plan such as that provided by an asbestos survey conducted on any non-domestic property that is over 8 years old.
Water Calculations
The 'Water efficiency calculator for new dwellings' is the Government's national calculation methodology for assessing water efficiency in new dwellings in support of The Code for Sustainable Homes and the Building Regulations.
